Ours is a legacy written into the kingdom itself. We are the third generation of our family to guide travellers through Bhutan — a heritage that began the very moment the kingdom first welcomed the world. Since that opening, our family has stood at the threshold of every era of Bhutanese travel, not as observers, but as architects of the experience. What we pass to you is not merely expertise accumulated across decades, but a living birthright: an intimacy with the culture, the ceremonies, and the unspoken rhythms of this land that can only be inherited, never acquired.

Ogyen & Co was founded in Thimphu by those of us who were born in Bhutan, raised in Bhutan, and have spent our lives learning the pathways, the festivals, the seasonal rhythms, and the relationships that make a journey here different from a tour elsewhere. We take the name Ogyen from the Tibetan paradise realm — a place of pure perception, where things are seen as they truly are. It is the quality we bring to every journey we design.

We operate exclusively in Bhutan. We do not offer journeys elsewhere, because we do not believe it is possible to offer this quality of experience in a place you do not deeply know. We work with a small number of guests each year, by design. We keep our guides, our relationships, and our arrangements private. What we offer is not available from an aggregator or a search engine.

Every enquiry we receive is answered personally, within 24 hours, by a member of our team. There is no automated response system. We do not use third-party booking platforms. When you write to us, a person reads it and responds.
