THE MOUNTAIN BODY
The body needs the valley as much as the mind does.
Rest built into the rhythm — not added to the itinerary.

TRADITIONAL HEALING · ALL VALLEYS
The Hot Stone Bath
River stones, fire-heated, lowered into a pinewood tub of cold water and artemisia — a Himalayan herb whose minerals seep in as the stones cool. Unchanged for centuries. We arrange it after long walking days. Most guests consider it non-negotiable after the first time.
AFTER LONG WALKS · ALL VALLEYS · ALL JOURNEYS

MORNING PRACTICE · SELECT LODGES
Private Yoga Session
Not a class with a schedule. A guide, a deck facing the valley, and the particular quality of mountain air at six in the morning before the mist has lifted. Placed at the beginning of the days that need it.
DAWN · SELECT LODGES

SOUND & STILLNESS
The Sound Bath
Tibetan singing bowls placed around you, struck in sequence. Each tuned to a specific frequency. The resonance passes through the body rather than around it. A practice that predates the word wellness by several centuries.

SIGNATURE TREATMENTS
Spa Treatments
The treatments here are calibrated to altitude, cold, and long days on mountain trails. The therapists trained for these conditions specifically. A full-body treatment after three days in the mountains is a different experience entirely.

ENERGY HEALING
Pranic Healing
An ancient no-touch energy healing modality that works with the body's pranic field to clear, balance, and restore vitality. Sessions are guided by a trained practitioner and tailored to the demands of mountain travel — releasing fatigue, easing tension, and quieting the nervous system after long days at altitude. A subtle practice with a noticeable effect.

GUIDED MEDITATION
Meditation
Not instruction — accompaniment. A practitioner trained in a monastery, not a wellness studio. Available on an early morning when there is nothing to be done until the valley warms.

BHUTANESE ASTROLOGY
The Astrology Reading
Tsi — the Bhutanese astrological practice shaped by Buddhism, Tibetan cosmology, and the lunar calendar. A senior monk draws a reading based on your birth date and the period of your journey. Forty minutes. A handwritten certificate in Dzongkha script.

TRADITIONAL MEDICINE
Acupuncture
Rooted in both Bhutanese and Chinese medical traditions, our private acupuncture sessions are led by a specialist from the Traditional Hospital of Bhutan. Each treatment is calibrated to the demands of high-altitude travel — restoring sleep, easing circulation, and renewing energy. The effects are felt quickly in the mountains.
